Camp Highlight
Monday, July 24 - Thursday, July 27 | 2:00 - 4:00pm
Kids ages 8 - 15 are invited to join Camp Highlight for a two-hour program daily during Family Week 2023. Enrollees will participate in recreational activities and curriculum including arts and crafts, games, and STEM fun all celebrating LGBTQ+ families.
This is drop-off program and will occur indoors at the Crown & Anchor Inn. The cost is $175 per child. Additional registration is required.
The Fantasticks Matinee
Tuesday, July 25 | 2:00 - 3:00pm
The Provincetown Theater is thrilled to present Tom Jones' and Harvey Schmidt's classic hit The Fantasticks in collaboration with Family Week. This One Act relaxed performance is meant for children and families of all ages to enjoy the theater and a happy ending musical. Newly rewritten by the prolific original writer Tom Jones, this version of The Fantasticks reimagines the classic musical with the young lovers at the center of the story as two young men, and their conniving fathers reimagined as scheming mothers! Family Week is a time when we celebrate, value, and respect the diversity of our community and our families. If you have friends or family members who are planning to attend Family Week but haven’t registered yet, please encourage them to do so. Registration allows them to receive up-to-date information about schedule changes, emergencies, and more straight to their inbox, in addition to providing us with the information we need to plan our events, communicate with funders, and develop programming that is accessible for everyone!
